🏛️ What the job does

One of five members of the Louisiana Public Service Commission, which regulates public utilities and common carriers and adopts and enforces rules for them, except utilities run by local governments unless local voters approve. Elected from a single-member district to a six-year term, with overlapping terms, and a limit of about two and a half terms in three consecutive terms. Next election: November 2030.
